The Motive

The Motive are an electrifying indie rock band who have set the music scene ablaze with their captivating sound and compelling performances. Born out of a shared passion for music and a relentless desire to create something meaningful, The Motive have emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the indie rock genre. Formed in Southwest London in 2018, The Motive have gone from strength to strength, accumulating over 1.8 million streams on Spotify alone and performing multiple sell-out shows across the UK, including a night at London's Camden Assembly. The band’s Debut EP, 'The Longer That I Stay Here' is available to stream now. Recorded and produced by Rob Whiteley (The Night Cafe,) the EP reflects on a journey of leaving home, mental health struggles and relationships. The Motive's sound blends a glorious cocktail of nostalgia and modern influences to create their own unique take on UK indie.
